As a service to those who aren’t traveling to the SRF Convocation this year, we are happy to inform you that the Seattle Center will livestream the 7:30 p.m. evening classes and 9 p.m. evening meditations from August 2nd – 7th, as well as the closing class at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th.

Please note that the regularly scheduled 3-hr. meditations on Saturday, August 1st and August 8th are canceled owing to the SRF Convocation.

Our special 30th Anniversary celebration titled “A Hive of Satsanga” will be held on Sunday, August 30th. Please pick up a flyer from the ushers or the info table, so you can RSVP for the lunch. The day will begin with a Kirtan meditation at 9:30 a.m., followed by a special Inspirational program featuring inspirational readings, uplifting music, and memoirs from Center members. The program will be followed by a delicious catered lunch at 12:15 p.m. We look forward to commemorating this special anniversary with you all.

The Managing Council is happy to let you know that we have reached 62% of our goal of $40,000 for the Social Room remodel. We deeply appreciate your prayers and financial support. Those wishing to contribute may scan the QR code on the poster in the Social Room, or pick up an envelope from the seat pockets in front of you to make your donation. We are happy to inform you that the Center’s office now has a new look. The remodel, which was entirely covered by donations, was completed last week, and includes installation of new cabinetry to provide additional storage, improved organization for volunteers, and a calm and welcoming ambiance.

On Saturday, May 30th we will have our Spring Day of Service from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., immediately following the morning meditation. A vegetarian lunch will be provided. All are welcome, including children for any length of time, to join in the joy of fellowship and service in cleaning, gardening, and carrying out maintenance projects. For those who wish to come and meditate prior to the 1 p.m. lunch, you may enter the chapel during the Noon chant. Or meditate in the Sunday School room.

Registrations for the annual Seabeck retreat led by Bro. Padmananda and Br. Rahul from June 5th through 7th will close next Sunday May 31st – so we encourage you to register this week if you haven’t already.

Self-Realization Fellowship is pleased to announce this year’s online How-to-Live Summer program for children and teens, which will be held June 24th through the 28th. Registration is now open, and information is available on the flyers in our foyer or in the Sunday School area.
