February 8, 2026

On Saturday, February 21st, we will have a One-Day Retreat here at the Center. Gurudeva, Paramahansa Yogananda said, “Every person needs a retreat, a dynamo of silence where he may go for the exclusive purpose of being recharged by the Infinite.” The day will include group practice of the Energization Exercises, periods of chanting and meditation, Inspirational Readings, and plenty of time to relax, recharge, or walk around the grounds. Please bring a sack lunch with you for the retreat.

Our next Day of Service will be on Saturday, February 28 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. following the morning meditation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided. All are welcome, including children, for any length of time, to join in the joy of fellowship and service in cleaning, gardening, and carrying out maintenance projects. For those who wish to come and meditate prior to the 1 p.m. lunch, you may enter the chapel during the noon chant, or meditate in the Sunday School room.

We are happy to let you know that Pramahansa Yogananda’s latest book “The Spiritual Expression of Friendship” — a book that unveils the profound spiritual depths waiting to be discovered in our relationships with others — is now available for purchase.

Please mark your calendars for this year’s Seabeck retreat, which will be held from June 5th – 7th.
