Tomorrow, we will have a commemorative meditation and service for Mahavatar Babaji. The commemorative service will begin at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by a silent meditation from 7 to 7:40 p.m. During the meditation, ushers will allow late arrivals to enter quietly, preserving the sacred atmosphere. Those attending the commemorative service are asked to bring a flower and a monetary offering in an envelope.

We will have a DVD Service today, a talk titled ‘A Promise of Light’ by Sri Daya Mata.

Join us for the annual picnic at Hamlin Park after the Sunday Service today. All are invited for food, fun, games and fellowship. If you need directions to the park, please see a volunteer at the Info Table after the service. 

On Saturday, July 23, we will have a 6-hour Kirtan meditation from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in commemoration of Mahavatar Babaji. Group Energization Exercises will be practiced at 9:40 a.m. and there will be a 30-minute break at 12:30 p.m.

On Monday, July 25, we will have a commemorative meditation and service for Mahavatar Babaji. The commemorative service will begin at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by a silent meditation from 7 to 7:40 p.m. During the meditation, ushers will allow late arrivals to enter quietly, preserving the sacred atmosphere. Thursday evening Inspirational services have now resumed, and take place from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. every Thursday. The Inspirational Service consists of short periods of meditation and chants, as well as readings from the writings of Paramahansa Yogananda.  

Join us for a potluck picnic next Sunday at Hamlin Park after the Sunday Services. All are invited for fun and fellowship. If you are able to do so, please bring a vegetarian dish to share.

We invite you to join us for the Thursday evening weekly inspirational service resuming this Thursday, July 7th, from 7-8 pm, and recurring weekly thereafter. These services on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda include periods of meditation and chanting as well.

We invite you to attend an Inspirational Service with Brother Samatananda on June 9 at our Center at 7pm, followed by a tea reception. A reminder that the Center will be closed on Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, for the Seabeck Regional Retreat.

We invite you to attend an Inspirational Service with Brother Samatananda on June 9 at our Center at 7pm, followed by a tea reception. The Center will be closed on Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, for the Seabeck Retreat. 

We have resumed Saturday long meditations, with Energization Exercises from 9:40 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and meditation from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the month of June, with the exception of the Seabeck Retreat weekend. 

For those attending the retreat, there is a need for volunteers in various areas, such as with transporting supplies, loading and setup. If you are able to serve as a volunteer, please inquire at the Information Table after the service. 

Additionally, if you are registered for the retreat, please ensure that we have received your proof of Covid vaccination as soon as possible. Seabeck Conference Center does require all attendees to either be vaccinated or show proof of a negative Covid test prior to attendance. If you would like to show your vaccination card today, please see the Center Coordinator at the Information Table after the service.

Saturday 3-hour meditations will resume from next Saturday, May 28, 2022. Energization Exercises will be from 9:40 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and meditation from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Seattle Center looks forward to hosting the regional Seabeck Retreat, which will be held on June 10-12 this year. Bro. Samatananda and Br. Wolfgang, from Self-Realization Fellowship, will be leading the retreat. The Seattle Center looks forward to hosting the regional Seabeck Retreat, which will be held on June 10-12 this year. Bro. Samatananda and Br. Wolfgang, from Self-Realization Fellowship, will be leading the retreat. There will be a Thursday evening Inspirational Service by Brother Samatananda on June 9 at our Center the day prior to the start of the silent retreat. Registration for the retreat is currently open online. Please visit the Center website for more details and to register. 

If anyone would like to request an individual counseling session with the monastics either on Thursday at the Center, or during the retreat, please see the Coordinator at the Information Table after the service today. For those attending the retreat, there is a need for volunteers in various areas, such as loading and setup. If you are able to serve as a volunteer, please inquire at the Information Table after the service. 

Additionally, if you are registered for the retreat, please ensure that we have received your proof of Covid vaccination as soon as possible. Seabeck Conference Center does require all attendees to either be vaccinated or show proof of a negative Covid test prior to attendance. If we haven’t heard from you in the next week, the Center Coordinator will be reaching out to you individually to verify your attendance.
