Announcements for Mar 6, 2022
We will commemorate the mahasamadhi of Paramahansa Yogananda tomorrow, March 7th, and the mahasamadhi of Swami Sri Yukteswar on Wednesday, March 9th. On each of these occasions, the doors to the chapel will open at 6:00 p.m. Although we won’t have a meditation leader that hour, the chapel will be open for individual meditation between 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The commemorative service will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. It is customary to bring a flower symbolizing devotion, and a monetary offering as a tribute to the SRF line of Gurus and their teachings. Children are welcome to attend in the chapel with their families.
Following our Reading Service today, the Bookroom and Information Table will be open between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. You may also access the Lending Library to sign out books and DVD’s.
The King County Indoor Mask Order ends on March 11. Following the direction provided by SRF leadership, we will follow local health guidelines, and masks will no longer be required for indoor services or activities following that date. Anyone who would like to continue masking may certainly do so.
Starting in April, we plan to resume meditation services at 10am, and Thursday evening Inspirational Services. This is dependent on volunteer availability, and details will be confirmed as they are finalized.
The subject for today’s service is “Regain Your Divine Heritage.”
