Announcements for August 14, 2022
Join us during Convocation week to watch evening classes on Sunday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 16 between 7:00-8:00 pm, followed by meditation for an hour. On Saturday, August 20, the closing class by Brother Chidananda will also be viewed from 1-2pm following the 3 hour Saturday meditation. Details are listed on our Center’s website.
Next Thursday, August 18, we will celebrate the birth of Sri Krishna with a commemorative service and kirtan. The service will begin at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by a silent meditation from 7 – 7:40 p.m.
Long Kirtan meditation will be held for Bhagavan Krishna on Saturday, Aug 27 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. There will be a 30-minute break at 12:30 p.m. and group Energization Exercises at 9:40 a.m.
We look forward to hosting a monastic visit by Brother Padmananda and Brahmachari Jason from September 22nd to 25th. If you have questions you would like answered during satsanga, please submit these to the Managing Council through our website email or in the suggestions box in the foyer.
A reminder that cases of Covid-19 are still prevalent. You may choose to wear a mask at any time while attending services as a means of mitigating health risks and promoting safety. Masks are available at both entrances to the building. If you test positive for Covid-19, have symptoms suggestive of it, or have been in close contact with anyone positive for Covid-19, please continue to follow precautions of testing and isolation, and do not attend services while ill or positive on testing, even if you aren’t experiencing symptoms.
