On Saturday, April 27 there will be a 6-hour post-Easter kirtan meditation from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Group Energization Exercises will be practiced at 9:40 a.m. and there will be a 30-minute break at 12:30 p.m.

The annual Helping Hearts Fundraiser, to purchase organic local produce that we will donate to the Hopelink Shoreline Food Bank, will take place next Sunday April 28 after the service. Please join us for snacks, sweet treats and chai. The funds from this bake sale will purchase fresh vegetables to be given to the HopeLink Shoreline Food Bank for 20 weeks this summer. The produce that the Hopelink Shoreline Food Bank receives from Helsing Junction Farms is repackaged and distributed and serves 20-25 families a month. Our goal is to raise $1,560. Thank you in advance for your generosity to the people in our neighboring community. Financial contributions, as well as contributions of snacks or sweets are welcome.

Our annual retreat at Seabeck will be held this year June 7 – 9 led by Bro. Sevananda and Br. Kapildeo. Registration is now open on our website, and for those who cannot register online their are printed registration forms in the social room.

We invite children between the ages of 7 to 18 to the SRF Summer Day Program in Encinitas. With guidance from SRF monastics, children will have an opportunity to deepen their relationship with God and learn SRF techniques of meditation. The program also features a “Parents Day” at the Encinitas Temple that will include a class and satsanga given by the monastics on spiritual parenting. The girls’ week will be June 24-28 and the boys’ week July 1-5.
