We hope you can join us for our services, meditations, and fellowship opportunities in celebration of Easter:

On Sunday, April 21, there will be an Easter Sunrise service from 7 – 8 a.m. (held outdoors unless it is raining). The meditation service will be at 10 a.m. and the reading service at 11 a.m. There will be an Easter Potluck after the services. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.
On Saturday, April 27 there will be a 6-hour post-Easter kirtan meditation from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Group Energization Exercises will be practiced at 9:40 a.m. and there will be a 30-minute break at 12:30 p.m.
The annual Helping Hearts Fundraiser, to purchase organic local produce that we will donate to the Hopelink Shoreline Food Bank, will take place on Sunday April 28 after the service. Please join us for snacks, sweet treats and chai. The funds from this bake sale will purchase a weekly share of fresh vegetables to be given to the HopeLink Shoreline Food Bank for 20 weeks this summer. The produce that the Hopelink Shoreline Food Bank receives from Helsing Junction Farms is repackaged and distributed and serves 20-25 families a month. Our goal is to raise $1560. Thank you in advance for your generosity to the people in our neighboring community. Financial contributions are welcome.
Our annual retreat at Seabeck will be held this year June 7 – 9. Registration is now open on our website, and for those who cannot register online their are printed registration forms in the social room.
We invite children and teens between the ages of 7 to 18 to the SRF Summer Day Program in Encinitas. This program ushers in an era of training for youth in our Guru’s How-to-Live spiritual principles. With guidance from SRF monastics, teens and children will have an opportunity to deepen their relationship with God, learn SRF techniques of meditation, engage in fun activities and create friendships with spiritually-minded peers. The program also features a “Parents Day” at the Encinitas Temple that will include a class and satsanga given by the monastics on spiritual parenting. The girls’ week will be June 24-28 and the boys’ week July 1-5.
The subject for today’s service is, “Jesus Christ and His Teachings.”
