Announcements for Sunday, April 1, 2018

On Saturday, April 7 there will be a post-Easter 6-hour kirtan meditation from  3 – 9 pm. There will be a 30-minute break at 5:30 pm with group Energization Exercises practiced at 5:40 pm.  The usual 10 am 3-hour meditation is cancelled that day.

The annual Helping Hearts Farm to Food Bank Project will have it’s Bake Sale Fund Drive on Sunday April 15 after the service. Please join us for snacks, sweet treats and chai. The funds from this successful Bake Sale will purchase a weekly share of fresh vegetables to be given to the HopeLink Shoreline Food Bank for 20 weeks this summer. Our goal is $1500 to purchase the large share and a mini share. Thank you in advance for your generosity to the people in our neighboring community. Financial contributions are welcome.

After the closing prayer, please remain in the chapel for a brief update from the Managing Council by our Coordinator Jeremy Jones. Following that, all are invited to join us in the Social Room for our Easter potluck.

The subject for today’s service is, “The True Significance of Resurrection.”
