Announcements for May 25, 2025

Following this service today, we will have a reading service in Spanish from 12:15 – 1 p.m. Printouts will be provided with words to the prayers and chants in Spanish. All are warmly invited to attend.

Our next Day of Service will be on May 31. It will begin following the morning meditation from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. All are welcome to join in the joy of fellowship and service in cleaning, organizing, gardening and carrying out maintenance projects. If the weather is sunny, we will be staining the new fence and invite helpers. For those who wish to come and meditate prior to the 1 p.m. lunch, you may enter the chapel during the noon chant, or meditate in the Sunday School room. All are welcome for the Day of Service, including children, for any length of time.

We are seeking volunteers to help with the audiovisual meditation services at our Center. This is for AV mixing and setup for Saturdays and Sundays. Prior experience is not needed. If you have the desire to learn and serve, Anand Balanchandran will be teaching anyone interested following the Sunday Service for the next several weeks, other than the first two Sundays of June. 

A reminder that registration for the Seabeck Regional Retreat is open on our website – srfseattlecenter.org. The retreat will take place from June 6-8 this year at Seabeck Conference Center. Registration is closing end of next week. If you have any questions about the retreat, please see our volunteer at the Information Table after service. Our Center will be closed for Saturday and Sunday meditations and services on June 7 and 8 during the retreat.
