Announcements for May 11, 2025

We’d like to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day. Following Service today, we will celebrate Mother’s Day with a tea reception and fellowship after the Sunday services. All are welcome to attend. A special thanks to our Social and Tea Committee volunteers for helping make today a special event. 

On Sunday May 25, following our regular Sunday reading service, we will have a reading service in Spanish from 12:15 – 1 p.m. Printouts will be provided with words to the prayers and chants in Spanish. All are warmly invited to attend.

Our next Day of Service will be on May 31. It will begin following the morning meditation from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. All are welcome to join in the joy of fellowship and service in cleaning, organizing, gardening and carrying out maintenance projects. For those who wish to come and meditate prior to the 1 p.m. lunch, you may enter the chapel during the noon chant, or meditate in the Sunday School room. All are welcome for the Day of Service, including children, for any length of time.

A reminder that registration for the Seabeck Regional Retreat is now open on our website – srfseattlecenter.org. The retreat will take place from June 6-8 this year at Seabeck Conference Center. This year marks our 40th anniversary of hosting the silent weekend retreat for our Center as well as surrounding regional Centers from WA, Oregon and British Columbia. If you have any questions about the retreat, please see our volunteer at the Information Table after service.
