We are happy to announce that the Seattle Center of SRF now has a presence on Instagram (handle – @srfseattlecenter). We invite you to follow our account and engage with our posts by liking, sharing and helping spread the word. Your participation will support the outreach of Gurudeva’s uplifting message, and help it reach sincere truth seekers throughout the Greater Seattle area.

On Saturday, February 28th we will have our Day of Service from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., immediately following the morning meditation. A vegetarian lunch will be provided. All are welcome, including children, for any length of time, to join in the joy of fellowship and service in cleaning, gardening, and carrying out maintenance projects. For those who wish to come and meditate prior to the 1 p.m. lunch, you may enter the chapel during the noon chant, or meditate in the Sunday School room.

We invite you all to special Services commemorating the mahasamadhis of Gurudeva Paramahansa Yogananda and Swami Sri Yukteswar. On Saturday, March 7th, we will have a Commemorative Service for Paramahansa Yogananda’s mahasamadhi, and on Monday March 9th, we will have a Commemorative Service for Swami Sri Yukteswar’s mahasamadhi. Both Services will begin at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by individual silent meditation from 7 until 7:45 p.m. Those attending the Services are asked to bring a flower as a symbol of their devotion to the SRF line of Gurus, and a monetary offering in an envelope as a symbol of their loyalty to this path.

On Sunday, March 8th, we will have a Spanish Reading Service from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. All are welcome.
