Announcements for May 4, 2025

We will commemorate the birthday of Swami Sri Yukteswar on Saturday, May 10. We will have a silent meditation from 7 – 7:45 p.m. during which it is permissible to quietly enter at any time.  After a 15 minute intermission, the commemorative service will begin at 8 pm. Please bring a flower and a monetary offering. All monetary offerings from Commemorative Services are always sent to SRF International Headquarters to support the worldwide spiritual work of our Gurus. 

On Sunday, May 11, we will celebrate Mother’s Day with a tea reception and fellowship after the Sunday services. The Center will provide light fare and beverages, and additional contributions of vegetarian snacks are welcome.

If you haven’t signed up yet for the Seabeck Regional Retreat, we invite you to do so as registration is now open on the Center’s website – srfseattlecenter.org. The retreat will take place from June 6-8 this year at Seabeck Conference Center near Hood Canal. This silent retreat allows a once in a year opportunity to withdraw into stillness and silence as we seek the presence of God through meditation and prayer. If you have any questions, please see our volunteer at the Information Table after service.
