Seabeck Regional Retreat

A reminder that registration for the Seabeck Regional Retreat this year opens today at 2pm on our website: srfseattlecenter.org. The retreat will be held from June 7 to 9 at the Seabeck Conference Center, led by visiting monastics, Brother Jitananda and Brother Maitrimoy. For further information, please visit our website. 

Chanting Session:

As most of you know, our Guru composed many devotional chants which are part of the book Cosmic Chants that is located behind the seats. On Sunday April 21st, we’ll have an extended chanting session after our usual Sunday Services, from 12-1pm here in the chapel. The theme for this session will be “Hidden Gems in the Cosmic Chants Book”, meaning all the chants selected will those that are less-commonly played during our regular services. The session will be comprised of mostly continuous chanting plus a few brief periods of meditation. All are invited to join, including children, for any length of time, and we look forward to experiencing the special blessings of group chanting together.
