Swami Sri Yukteswar Commemorative and Meditation

On Wednesday May 10, we will have a Commemorative Service for Sri Yukteswar’s birthday at 8 p.m. preceded by open meditation from 7 – 7:45 p.m. Please bring a flower and a monetary offering as symbols of your devotion and loyalty to the Gurus. Flowers will be available at the Center also. 

On Saturday May 13, we will have a 6-hour meditation with Kirtan from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for the birthday of Sri Yukteswar. Group Energization Exercises will be practiced at 9:40 a.m. and there will be a 30-minute break at 12:30 p.m.

Mother’s Day Tea Reception

On Sunday, May 14, we will celebrate Mother’s Day with a tea reception and fellowship after the Sunday services. The Center will provide light fare and beverages, and additional contributions of vegetarian snacks are welcome.

Seabeck Regional Retreat

The Seabeck Regional Retreat this year will take place from June 9 to 11. Sister Vinita and Sister Dhira will be leading the silent retreat. Registration for the event will remain open till May 31 on the Center’s website at srfseattlecenter.org. All are welcome to attend the Thursday Meditation Service on June 8 at 7pm at our Center, and to attend the tea social afterwards to meet the monastics.

The subject for today’s service is “Sojourn in Freedom: The Astral Universe”.
